Introduction

Childcare has been gaining increasing attention as one of the most crucial aspects to form societies. Due to its significance, some individuals believe that both mothers and fathers are responsible for equipping themselves with children care and parental skills by enrolling in professional courses. I wholeheartedly agree with this viewpoint since all mothers and fathers should share this duty and can equally contribute to the comprehensive development of their children.

Body

First, participating in well-structured courses teaching fundamental knowledge and skills is essential for parents to fulfill their child rearing responsibilities. Learning modern methods to raise offspring can benefit parents to nurture their children more effectively, especially in today's world where parenting experience from older generations may be no longer applicable. The opponents of this perspective might oversimplify the reality of children nurturing by arguing that raising a child just requires feeding, ensuring their daily schedule and teaching basic knowledge. In fact, the growth of children today needs more meticulous preparation to not only secure substantial physical growth but also emphasize their intellectual and mental development, which used to be underestimated by older nurturing methods. When parents understand how to take care of their children appropriately, the young can benefit from a comprehensive rearing environment and therefore develop more effectively in various aspects.

In addition, this responsibility should be shared by both parents since the role of mothers and fathers are equally vital to the development of children. In reality, raising children from babies to a mature age involves myriad tasks, from providing them healthy and nutritious diets, securing them proper educational opportunities, to protect their mental health, which can be overwhelming for just one parent to undertake. Receiving care from both parents also helps build children confidence and a positive perception of family values and love from an early age, which significantly affects their future adulthood. In other words, children growing in a family where both parents care about them equivalently are less likely to develop insecurities and guilt by assuming they do not deserve their parents' attention, which forms a healthy definition of gender equality and family responsibilities regardless of age. This mindset allows them to focus on equality within family when they get married and raise their own children in their adulthood.

Conclusion

In conclusion, parents' participation in formal classes teaching parental skills is necessary for children's multifaceted growth and therefore should be more widely promoted.
