The two maps show the changes which took place in the small local museum and its surroundings between 1957 and 2007. Overall, the most noticeable development was loss of greenery across the area. The museum was expanded and a car park was added, making the area far more build-up. Despite this growth, the road retained its original appearance, with only minor changes. In 1957, the area used to have dense greenery and a considerably smaller museum. The road was located in the south along with some trees, and an additional road provided access to the museum. Upon accessing the museum, visitors would face the national history exhibition at the end of the hall, which was the largest section of the building. Furthermore, a museum storage room was situated on the right while a local history room was on the other side. The museum was surrounded by trees and the garden occupied the north-west. By 2007, the building had undergone a dramatic transformation. Access to the building was relocated to the western side, just beneath a museum shop. The former location of the museum storage room was converted into a cafe, to the right of a new reception, and a local history room was relocated to the middle of the museum. An education center was constructed in the north, with Special exhibitions next to it. When it comes to the surroundings of the museum, the road and the garden retained their original appearance. The huge number of trees were removed, and a car park appeared for the first time.
