The question of whether governments should subsidize full course fees for students who pursue universities has become increasingly relevant in recent years. From my perspective, i completely agree with this statement as providing higher education for students can contribute to a better society as it can reduce crime rate and provide higher salaries for individuals.

The foremost argument to justify my stand is that financial assistance from authorities can reduce poverty rate in society and help boost the economy of countries. For some students who come from underprivileged backgrounds, they cannot afford universities courses, thus they resort to attending vocational training in order to gain money. In fact, individuals learning practical courses stand a lower chance of having high salaries as their knowledgeable counterparts, who enroll in universities. This leads to the poverty of people as they do not earn enough money to cover their living expenses, and on a larger scale, countries where people live below the poverty line may not be developed as their GDP is contributed by citizens.＋

Furthermore, the other reason to prove my point is that when people who eager to attend universities are supported fiscally by government, the crime rate of the nations might be reduced. The root causes of the criminals often stem from the lack of morals education, and the poverty that is driven by low income jobs and unemployment. People without acquiring suitable skills and knowledge are unlikely to have jobs, especially in the labor market, where the demand for university certificates is growing. As a result, individuals who unable to make ends meet will be forced to commit crimes such as pickpocketing or burglary. These negative behaviors can result in social instability and increase in crime rate. Thus, government funding for higher education is a crucial preventive measure against social instability and crime.
