The diagram depicts how leather products are manufactured. Overall, it is readily apparent that the production of leather products can be divided into 8 distinct steps, commencing with drying animal skins and culminating in making various consumer products. A closer examination reveals that the process begins with the animal skins being dried on a horizontal bar, followed by being transported to a factory. Before being soaked in lime, the animal skins are washed off with water and lime to eliminate dirt and impurities. Moving onto the subsequent step, the animal skins are transferred to a machine where they are flattened. Thereafter, the animal skins are soaked in tannin mixture including water and vegetable matter. The polishing stage is carried out in order to make the animal skins smoother and more beautiful. The process ends with transferring the animal skins to another factory for producing different consumer products such as bags, shoes and balls.
