The graph illustrates how the employment figures in four economic sectors has changed across the US over a 60-year period from 1960 to 2020. Overall, retail and healthcare experienced an increase in the number of jobs, while manufacturing and agriculture witnessed a decline. Turning to the sectors that experienced growth, the most significant rise was observed in healthcare, where the number of careers climbed slightly from 1960 to 1980, respectively approximately 2.5 million to more than 5 million.
