The given diagrams illustrates transformation of a the Nelson city from 2000 to now. Overall, the city has witnessed a dramatic transformation with the advent of many recreational centers over the period. At the time, it is also apparent that transportation infratructure has been significantly upgraded. In 2000, Nelson appeared with just an emty city centre in the middle. In the North were a college and a grenery ambience on its right hand. Old train station was initially located in the West side. Behind it was the Old market, which was also presented as next to the city centre. One port was situated inn the South, where there was also a car road above. Over years, the layout has undergone such a significant alternative. A multitude of recreational buildings has been constructed including new shopping centre and a new shop in place of the previous trees zone and the old market respectively while new covered market has now moved to the right of the centre. Additionally, there is also the introduction of a residential hall on the West side of the university. On the South, a restaurant and bars and clubs were added on two sides beside the port when the previous road now is transfered into only a walking path. In the middle of the city, the traffic system was facilitated by the addition of a Bike rental schme and a crossway above, which becomes a connection between school and the contre. New train station is also easily seen to relocate next to this way.
