The given graph demonstrates how the prices of Cooper, Nickel and Zinc varied across twelve months in 2014. Overall, three types of metal underwent great changes in their prices. The most notable pattern is that while the cost of Nickel fluctuated substantially every month, that of the remaining metals slightly varied. Besides, the prices of these materials in July, August and September was stable. Looking firstly at Nickel, this substance began 2014 with the largest change in its price compared to others, marking a 6% in January. After that, the change in its cost steeply dropped to 1% in March before hitting a low of -3% in June. This figure was then recovered to -1% and remained the same for 3 months after reaching 1% in the last months of 2014. Turning to Zinc, which reached its highest figure of 3% in February after being the lowest in the January. The price of this material then witnessed marginal drop to -1%, which later hovered at this point before reaching 2% at the end of the year. Cooper saw the same trend, which slightly decreased from 2% to less than 0% for the first half of 2014 before hovering around 1% to 2% for the remaining months.
