AI4IELTS is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains our processing practices and your rights.
1. Controller and scope
AI4IELTS controls the personal data described here. Data questions may be sent to support@ai4ielts.com. This policy follows Vietnam Decree 13/2023/ND-CP and applicable Vietnamese law.
2. Data we collect
We collect account details, submitted essays and recordings, practice data, transaction records supplied by payment providers, and technical data such as IP address, browser, device, cookies and usage events. We do not store card details.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We use data to operate accounts, grade and analyse IELTS work, process purchases, provide support and service messages, prevent abuse and improve quality. Processing relies on consent and/or performance of our service contract; consent may be withdrawn.
4. Sharing and international processing
We do not sell personal data. We share only as needed with authentication, AI, payment and infrastructure providers, or authorities where required by law. Overseas processing receives safeguards required by applicable law.
5. Anonymous community samples
Graded work may be included by default in the community library after names, email, avatar and precise submission time are removed. You can opt out in account settings. Public samples are generally limited to the latest month; previously anonymised samples may remain.
6. Retention and your rights
We retain data while your account is active and as legally necessary, then delete or anonymise it. You may request notice, access, correction, withdrawal, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, complaint and compensation. We aim to respond within 72 hours.
7. Security, children and cookies
We use transport encryption, access controls and backups. The service is intended for people aged 16 or over; improperly collected child data will be deleted. Cookies maintain sessions, remember choices and measure usage and can be controlled in your browser.
